Rich has over 30 years of venture investing and business operating experience. He has developed a successful track record of building innovative companies in various industries.

Rich began his career in Boston, MA. He worked as a management consultant for Bain and Company and also participated in several projects for Bain Capital. After Bain, he co-founded J. Holdsworth Capital, Ltd., a private equity and venture capital concern. He has helped to successfully develop companies in numerous industries including business process outsourcing, e-health, healthcare informatics, consumer retail, manufacturing and distribution, food processing, and specialty metal products. Rich frequently serves as an operating leader in his ventures.

Rich was a co-founder of KidsGrowth.com, LLC, and served as its Chief Executive Officer from its inception until its successful cash sale to a healthcare company backed by three national private equity firms. KidsGrowth.com was a pioneer dot.com healthcare company and web portal, integrating online content and e-commerce services for pediatricians, other health professionals, parents and patients.

He was a co-founder, President and Chief Operating Officer of Pediatric Health Alliance, LLC (PHA) and iLIANT Corporation – companies engaged in business process outsourcing and IT hosting in the healthcare industry. These businesses grew from startup to approximately 900 employees and serviced over 2000 physicians in private practice and in hospital systems all over the United States.  They were successfully sold and merged into MED3000/McKesson Corp. (NYSE:MCK).

Rich was a co-founder of Radiation Decontamination Solutions, LLC (RDS). RDS provides proprietary and patented products and services for nuclear waste remediation. Clients included sovereign governments, militaries, nuclear power plants and hospitals around the world. RDS was also involved in the radiation cleanup efforts in Fukushima, Japan and other contaminated sites. Rich successfully sold his interests in RDS to a group of a private investors.

Rich has worked with many physician equity partners. Currently he is also on the Board of Directors of two prominent Clinically Integrated Networks (CIN) – the Tampa Bay Health Alliance CIN and the Florida Pediatric Alliance CIN. These groups are collectively composed of over 1500 health care professionals and approximately 750,000 patient lives.

Rich received a B.A. in Economics, Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude, from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. While at Tufts, he received the Gulf Oil Merit Scholarship and the Charles Bluhdorn Prize in Economics. Each of these awards is given to only one member of each Tufts class. Since graduation, he has endowed multiple scholarships at Tufts for first-generation college students.

Dr. Kulek-Luzey leads our quality improvement implementation, ensuring that a focus on patient care is appropriately aligned to practice cost and efficiency goals.

She has over 30 years of experience in primary care pediatrics, in tandem with over 15 years of experience in health care administration.

In addition to her responsibilities with Novelle, Dr. Kulek-Luzey is the Medical Director and Managing Partner of Pediatric Health Care Alliance, PA. PHCA is the largest primary care pediatric group on the west coast of Florida and one of the largest physician-owned primary care pediatric groups in the United States. She is consistently ranked by her peers in Tampa Bay for inclusion on the Best Doctors in America List ®.

Dr. Kulek-Luzey is responsible for all policy development and implementation regarding the medical operations of over 60 primary care and specialty health care providers.

Dr. Kulek-Luzey has developed and led PHCA’s successful efforts in Pediatric Population Management and in achieving NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home status. She has developed a comprehensive and innovative population health program that has achieved outstanding results in quality improvement, cost efficiencies and attainment of quality scores well above national averages.

The PHCA program has generated substantial success, including bonuses from payers due to medical loss ratio management and quality enhancements.

Dr. Kulek-Luzey’s expertise in population health management has contributed to Novelle’s extensive product and service offerings.

She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Tampa Bay Health Alliance CIN and the Florida Pediatric Alliance CIN.

Dr. Kulek-Luzey received her Doctor of Medicine from University of South Florida, and completed her residency at Johns Hopkins at All Children’s Hospital (formerly known as All Children’s Hospital).

Debra oversees population health management for Novelle, developing metrics and protocols that enable medical practices to deliver optimal, efficient, and cost-effective care.

She has over 25 years of experience in healthcare administration.

Debra Gonzalez

Debra’s executive experience includes the successful development and expansion of a private company that provides practice management services to independently-owned private medical groups. She joined the practice management venture at its inception in 1998 and advanced through progressive roles in finance and operations, actively contributing to the company’s growth and profitability.

Medical practice clients doubled their patient care operations in Tampa Bay during Debra’s tenure, successfully increasing market share through a growing network of facilities and providers across a tri-county area.

Debra has extensive experience in health care administration for iLIANT Corporation, MED3000 Inc., and McKesson Corporation, where she has managed RCM, contract negotiation, health care analytics, and medical practice expansion.

Prior to these ventures, Debra worked as an Accounting Manager and an Auditor at a large regional accounting firm.

Debra is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a Master of Health Administration (MHA) from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Albany.

Maireni directs all of Novelle’s practice management services, in addition to leading our managed security and compliance subsidiary (Novelle IntelliSolve™) as President and COO.

With a diverse healthcare management background that includes hospital systems, private practices, and social services, Maireni has a strong track record of operational leadership in unique and rapidly evolving environments.

She directed our pediatric practice management services through the COVID-19 pandemic by implementing workforce retention strategies, managing heightened safety and health regulations, and developing innovative scheduling solutions. Her efforts ensured that practices never had to close any provider’s schedule to patients.

Her executive experience includes administration of comprehensive multi-specialty healthcare systems, transformation of underperforming companies into thriving enterprises, orchestrating successful mergers and acquisitions,  and overseeing companies from startup phase to eventual sale. With a deep understanding of business operations and an unwavering commitment to growth, Maireni has been instrumental in transforming ideas into profitable ventures.

Maireni holds a Master of Public Affairs and Administration (MPA) and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. She has furthered her professional development through programs including Leadership Strategies for Health Care Executives (Harvard University School of Public Health) and the Hispanic Leadership Institute (Baruch College School of Public Health).
